Mockingjay

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins is released today!!  (It's the final book in The Hunger Games triology.)  I'll be waiting for the UPS/FedEx guy to deliver our copy.  Except, of course, I'm working on my revision.  Hmm.  Maybe I'll use chapters of Mockingjay as bribe to get my own work done.  I'm so not above bribery.

Anyone else as eager to read it as I am?

(I'm Team Peeta.)

  1. Just make sure you have somebody to hold you to your bribe. If you're anything like me, than you'd quickly fall into your own insanity and read it anyway.

  2. You actually have my curiosity on edge to read what you have been writing Connie. I will look for the new book as well.

  3. I keep hearing about these books--they have me so curious, they must be amazing. Whenever YA books are mentioned they come up. I even heard about Mockinjay and I haven't read any of them and don't write YA! The series is on my fall reading list:-).

  4. Team Peeta here!

I'm pretty excited, but I'll be most excited this weekend when I have more time to actually read it. I don't even want to start until then. I know it'll be torture if I can't finish it fast.

  6. AAAAAA!!! Just discovered that we didn't order Mockingjay--precious daughter thought I ordered, and I thought precious daughter had ordered it.

Decision time. Go to store and buy or order from Amazon with free two day shipping. The book is way cheaper at Amazon.
