Friday Five

We haven’t done one of these in a long time. So it’s time. What are your favorite stress-reducing/comfort foods?


Here are mine:


1. Lindt’s dark chocolate with sea salt


2. Kalamata olives


3. Brie with crackers


4. Lindt’s white chocolate with coconut. (I usually hate white chocolate, but this is altogether different.)


5. Sour Apple martini (you can make it with club soda if you want).

What are yours?

  2. White wine. Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. I love Lindt chocolate as well, of any kind, but usually I go for their dark chocolate truffles. Also, Italian food.

  4. Ooh, I like how you eat! I LOVE anything chocolate, plus some good sharp cheddar cheese. Oh heck, just about any cheese out there. ;)

    Well, looks like chocolate's covered except for one glaring omission: triple chunk brownies.
    Or batter of aforementioned brownies :-).
    Another must-have not mentioned, salsa--w/ loads of cilantro and lime juice--w/ or w/o a barrel of warm chips. I have been known to drink it straight from the to-go cup. Hmmm, I could use some now...
