I was in junior high and high school when the Star Wars series came out--the original episodes, which are actually 4, 5, and 6. And like every other kid, I imagined myself in the movies. Of course, there was only one girl role, so although Chewbacca was very cool, I imagined myself as Princess Leia.
A lot of things have changed since then and thanks to a friend (Grace Duke) my children have discovered that with a little computer savvy and some animation, they actually can be in the original Star Wars trilogy. Enjoy. Click on the link: Star Wars Keller-Style (N.B. This is a hefty file and takes a couple of minutes to load. Please be patient.)
For those of you who don’t know my kids: Jacob is Luke Skywalker, Ariel is Princess Leia (duh), Matt is Han Solo, and Luke is Lando.
They talk pretty fast... Well anyway I was on this site waiting for it to be posted. Thought you might want to know.
ReplyDeleteHeh heh. Jake has such a round face.
ReplyDeleteThat is so hilarious! We had so much fun making the other one:) We were busting our guts out when Lando says "Thats how I roll, baby."
ReplyDeleteGrace-
ReplyDeleteEspecially when Luke (Luke Keller, not Skywalker) says, "That's how I roll, baby." That sends us into fits of laughter.
Hahaha! Salutations too all Kellers (including the mermaid). I finally found your blog and after some persuasion from Grace, I decided to take the time and comment.
ReplyDeleteWelcome E'kud
ReplyDeleteLuke/Lando looks hilarious with the "Lando mustache" that they put on in the movie. Then there's Jacob/Luke's, "I'm going to throw myself into this reactor shaft!" :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Josh; you know you haven't posted on your blog since February, right? [Throws e-seaweed at you as punishment.] Ha!
Bwa ha ha! Matt makes a great Han Solo!
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Josh, you are such a nerd. Ariel just seaweeded you into eternity.
ReplyDeleteI know, Luke made the perfect Lando. Ariel made a good Leia too. Matt made a hilarious Han (ha) and Jacob did a swell Luke. Man, that made us laugh so hard.
In your honour and in the honour of wall the Writwrs and Poets, I published an ilustration.
